Fourth Annual Monongahela River Summit
April 13, 2009 - Waterfront Place Hotel, Morgantown, WV

A FORUM ON OPPORTUNITIES AND ISSUES OF THE MON RIVER:
Commerce, Infrastructure, Water Quality, and Recreation.

Recognizing the unique opportunities provided by the Upper Monongahela River to its riverside communities and citizens, the Monongahela River Recreation and Commerce Committee of the Morgantown Area Chamber of Commerce VISION 2020 project has scheduled the Fourth Annual Monongahela River Summit to provide a forum for a discussion of river issues.

This year's summit will feature a panel of water quality experts, discussing recent water quality issues affecting the river. Speakers will also address infrastructure needs and recreational and commercial opportunities. Attendees will be able to voice their concerns about river issues and proposed solutions to perceived problems.

Following the summit a "Proceedings" report will be prepared outlining the problems and solutions presented at the Summit. This will be available on the summit website MonRiverSummit.org .

The Summit program will be posted here soon.

Please try to register no later than April 3, 2009 as we must make space commitments to the hotel.
